ABOUT MICHAEL CASTLEMAN

Michael Castleman grew up in Long Island. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan, and earned an M.A. in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism. Castleman has written more than 2,500 magazine and online articles, as well as 19 books selling over 2.5 million copies. The Untold Story of Books: A Writer’s History of Book Publishing is his 20th book.
